In the event of a driving lesson, driving course or part thereof being cancelled, no penalty will be incurred providing that the All Pass Driving instructor can source alternative work for the same training period in question. If this is not possible, the full training fee for the said training period may, at the discretion of the All Pass Driving instructor, be charged in full. Therefore, to ensure your All Pass Driving instructor can source alternative work, it is a requirement for all pupils to give 72 hours notice of intent to cancel for intensive driving courses and 48 hours for all other lessons.

Time Keeping
All pre-agreed driving lessons must commence/finish on times agreed between pupil and driving instructor. If the pupil is late for his/her lesson for any reason, the time will be still be chargeable. If the driving instructor is late, the time will be added on at the end of the lesson or at another time suitable for the pupil.

Discounted Lessons
From time to time we offer block bookings (5 or 10 lessons) at discounted rates. If for any reason a refund is required for any outstanding lessons, the lessons taken will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
Example 1: 10 lessons are purchased for £160 and only 5 lessons are taken. If the hourly rate was £22 at time of a refund request, the total charge for lessons taken will be "5 x £22" = £110, leaving a refund of £50.
Example 2: Our standard 15 hour intensive driving course at time of writing is £437. We discount this by offering to pay for the practical driving test (currently £62) and then offer a further reduction of £40, bringing our 15 hour intensive driving course down to an overall price of £335 - a huge reduction.
If a pupil purchases this course (or any other intensive driving course offered by APD) and decides to cancel their intensive driving course, i.e.that they no longer want to continue their intensive driving course for whatever reason, then any discounts applied to this or any other intensive driving course are null and void and any refund would be based on the original APD course cost.

Student Discounts
Our 10% student discount is only applicable if the student pays for their own practical driving test. We will not pay for the pupils driving test in addition to offering a 10% student discount. The 10% student discount is only available during term time and must be supported with a valid/current student matriculation card.
NB. Discounted lessons/block bookings are available for new pupils only and can only be purchased ONCE. Thereafter all lessons/block bookings are charged at our normal standard rates.

Special Offer 2010 (£40 Discount Offer) - This offer applies to all courses booked on or after 15th January 2010. Courses booked before this date DO NOT qualify for £40 discount offer. Offer applies to all courses starting from and including 15 hour intesnive course - 40 hour intensive course.

Intensive Driving Courses
A £150 non-refundable deposit is to be paid prior to APD booking a prospective pupil onto an intensive driving course. APD may, at their discretion, book a pupils intensive driving course and practical driving test with the £150 non-refundable deposit pending. However APD reserve the right to cancel the said intensive driving course and practical driving test if the £150 non-refundable deposit is not paid by the payment deadline agreed by both parties.

Online Practical Test Bookings
APD will book a pupils practical driving test online whenever appropriate to do so. However, the management of the test booking thereafter is solely the reponsibility of the pupil. APD cannot and will not be held responsible for a pupil providing their allocated driving instructor with the incorrect test date and/or time. In the event a pupil provides their allocated driving instructor with an incorrect test date/time, APD waive all responsiblity and it is thereafter the responsilbity of the pupil to book and pay for any subsequent driving test or driving lessons.

Use of 'APD' Vehicle
In the interests of customer, public and DSA staff safety, your ‘APD’ instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of their tuition vehicle for the practical driving test if, in their opinion, your driving is actually or potentially dangerous. The practical driving test fee (currently £62) will be forfeited if your practical test is cancelled within three working days of the said test.

Test Cancellation
Three clear working days notice of cancellation or postponement is required by the DSA. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the loss of your test fee. Your ‘APD’ instructor cannot be held responsible for any postponement or cancellation of tests by the DSA. However, he or she will do all that is possible to arrange another test as quickly as possible and to help you to reclaim expenses from the DSA.

Adverse Weather Conditions
Your All Pass Driving instructor reserves the right to postpone or cancel any lesson if he/she feels that the weather or road conditions are unsuitable or dangerous for the proposed driving lesson to be conducted.
Your All Pass Driving instructor cannot be held responsible for costs incurred by the pupil should he/she have to postpone any lessons, for whatever reasons.
